Good Friends From Italy! Go Noisecore!

Perkenalkan Joseph pecinta AS ROMA!!!!!

Hello Joseph! How are you? Can you tell us a little about yourself, your everyday activities, and also a little about Bestial Vomit?

Hi sony!!!! right now we are touring greece and we are gonna visit other european countries in the next days with bv. So you can guess how much i can be happy right now.Usually i`m a very lazy guy and i work as sound engineer, when i will back in italy i want to finish our first recording studio with cedro the other singer of bv. When i have not to work or play usually i go out with friends for some beers or we stay at home and make the same. Only right now with bv we have a stable line up and i`m very happy how the things are going coz we touring a lot and we record so many stuff.

What do you think about Indonesia? If given the chance, would you live here?
Your country is amazing man, believe me; too many friends there, i mean REAL FRIENDS. If i will find one place to stay and something to do i will not hesitate a single second to move there.

Indonesia is a poor country with bountiful natural resources. Italy, however, is a very diffrence country. During your tour here, what differences did you see between the two countries?
It enough to watch a globe and see that we are almost in the opposite corner of the world. We have a lot of beautiful landscapes but your nature is wilder than ours, expecially in sumatra. I saw millions of strange fruits and vegetables impossible to find here. Speaking about people i noticed a lot of hospitality that my coutrymates lost and and a lot of little actions during the daily life very far from our customs.

I regret not being able to see your performances in Bandung and in other cities. What did you think about Indonesia's music and social scene? Do you have any plans to come here again?
Next time like i said before i would like to back alone without band coz i want to discover about your cities and your culture coz this is very difficult when you touring. The musical scene is simply great, tons of awesome bands, but i already knew this before the tour. Social topics are really important for you i guess, i saw sometimes the newspaper the riots and the demos. i know also about the repression of your politicians.

Here I sometimes here songs from local bands that take songs from abroad. They only change the lyrics and a few other parts of the song. Why do you think they are so influenced that they can't make the most of their own potential?
If think if you have a lack of motivation writing new stuff it`s better to cover the bands you like before to find your personal way. You can`t have any chance to go on if you only copy. I think they need this coz they think to walk in a safe path, but is short.

How do you see other a "big and famous" Grindcore bands? Do you respect them? Unluckily a lot of bands after the fame, changed their attitude and forget the real roots of this music. Only if a band conserve the old diy spirit can receive my support. Fuck the rockstar bands! ROCKSTAR ASU BABI.

Speaking of football, I know that you are a fans of AS ROMA. How much do you love your club? Do you go to every game? I spent all my childhood and my teen ages in the stadiums for A.S. ROMA my friend. My granpa was a great supporter, my father too. This is a tradition and my team is the heritage of my city. Right now i don`t go in the stadium but i have the little wolf (our mascotte) always on my neck. You can change partner, house, political views, music... but not the team: A.S. ROMA FOREVER!!!

AS ROMA was in position two in the Serie A last season. It's a big accomplishment, especially compared to Persib Bandung, which is in position four. In your opinion, what are the prospects for AS ROMA next season?

You follow a lot our serie a like a lot of your countrymates, uhm? I really hope we can win something next year, also i would like to see good matches in uefa champions league.

Italy was eliminated in the qualification round. It is such a shame because they are one of my favorite teams. How did you feel after watching the game? Loosing 3-2 to Slovakia was a terrible blow.

I didn`t watch the matches coz i was working but they suck i think. with that teams in our qualification round everybody thought about 9 points and then we ended last. My team is another, you know.

You live in a country that is moving forward because of education, which is making an impact on the general public. I want to know what is the education system like there? Are you satisfied with the current system?
I`m not satisfied at all about our education system. The public university don`t receive money enough for prepare new workers.

What is your definition of "country"?
Uhm very intersting quest. My definition of country is quite negative, i see the word country like a border. And when there is a border there will be always an army ready to attack this. Country can`t be a closed recipe.

If you were given the opportunity to become someone influential enough to change the world, what would you do?
I will close suddenly every bank and every weapons factory. also i will finish every army.

Returning to the topic of music, when did you first start taking an interest in Grindcore? Why did you like it?
I felt i love when i was 18-19, i liked and i like nowadays the mood, the rage and the topics of the lyrics; the punk attitude is important too: you can play even if you are not a skillfull musician.

Tell me what it's like in Italy. What was your most memorable gig?
The most memorable gigs we had were in your country. The gig in the forest of bandung was in a amazing venue (thanx kunk!!!) and the gig in palembang was impossible to describe, the venue was full of crowd. Amazing experience, not easy to forget.

What does the future look like for you and Bestial Vomit?
Who knows??? i hope to tour a lot of countries and i hope to record a lot of shit. For sure i want to meet all my friends around the world thanx to bv activity.

Thank you so much for your time, I hope you enjoyed this interview and I apologize if my questions were very standard. Send your regards to your friends in Indonesia!
Don`t be so modest man!!!!! i enjoyed a lot your quests and i was very happy to receive them. Thanx for your great support and i wish you good luck with the zine. MUNTAH SEPERTI BINATANG!
